GLC Q&A 2/5: Global Vision and YOUR future.
Where would you like to see yourself in relation to Global Vision in the future?
“I would definitely like to participate in the GVRA program. As is presents an opportunity to engage other like minded individuals and meet some amazing new people. I would eventually hope to be accepted as a member of JTC on an international trade mission, as I feel I have much to offer Global Vision and to learn from it.”~Annika Gnann; Halifax, NS,
“I see Global Vision as opening up opportunities for me, as helping me toward my potential final destination; a position in the government sector concerning international relations and public policy.” ~Mark Berlin; Corner Brook, NL
“J’aimerais étudier en développement international. J’espère qu’avec GV je purrai crèer des connections international.”~Jolaine Boucher; Fredericton, NB
“I would like to become more involved with Global Vision, whether at next year’s Atlantic GLC, NYC, or with JTC on a trade mission, they would all be opportunities that I would enthusiastically embrace.” ~Erika MacDonald; Little Pond, PEI
“I would like to see program development within Global Vision that reaches out to rural, remote Canadian Youth and the opportunity to work within it. Thanks to all the organizers of the 2012 Atlantic GLC. There needs to be more programs like this out there, more programs that encourage youth to collaborate on a variety of issues in a new and diverse setting.” ~Melissa Dempsey, Halifax, NS
“Truthfully, I know that I definitely want to be involved with Global Vision in the future, but how I’m unsure. This program has encouraged me to follow through and achieve success in the goals that I set for myself. The Atlantic GLC has helped me focus.”Lesley Clark; Kensington, PE
“At first I was intimidated as I don’t come from a business background and this was my first leadership type conference. I have always wanted to pursue nursing and I have a real passion for helping children. I am involved in several organizations such as Free The Children and I would like to explore how Global Vision impacts children and adults on an international, yet personal level. For me it was really exciting to make some of the connections and enjoy some of the experiences I was privileged to partake in during this event. I’ll be taking away (from this conference) a variety of business skills, including the 12 tools of following the LTR, that will help me foster the realization of my passions.” ~Morgan Litchfield, Fredericton, NB
