    The first topic I would like to explore is offshore drilling. In light of BP’s recent catastrophic spill, what does offshore drilling’s future look like? Are Canada’s regulations of offshore drilling adequate or should there be changes? Do any of you oppose offshore drilling altogether? Should we be advancing offshore drilling in the arctic – even with safeguards – given that the region is known to be more ecologically sensitive to environmental impacts

    offshore drilling is stupid… complete idiocy.. i think that is should be banned. they dont have the proper safety precautions to stop a oil spill on the BP Scale. look at the damage that was made in the US.. they never had a back up plan to stop the well. i think that the offshore drilling will be highly scrutinized till the big spill happens again and we are able to stop it the instant it starts. till that day happens im against the oil drilling.. well personally im against any land water or air destroying lifestyles.
