    Better integration of MyGV with other social media platforms. Will something like the twitter status update like we had on the old site drain too much juice?

    One cool thing to see would be to see iTunes updates on people’s profile and/or chat window to see what they are listening to at that moment. Like on skype or msn.
    Another thing would be to have a “Profile: option on the horizontal menu just below the MGV logo so that it is more accessible than at the very top of the screen

    What would be nice to see with the home page is something similar to iGoogle so that you can choose what you want to see and where you want it. Also, add some “applications” like a calender and a current updated status feed. With these added I would make MGV my homepage because it is everything I want to see: news, blogs, calender, status updates. The whole works.

    It would be great to have a function in which we could send to interested parties, sort of like Facebook’s ‘so-and-so tagged you on Facebook. Would you like to see what they said?’ to persuade them to join.

    Have “tweetstream” and “facestream” receive updates as well as create them.

    Currently the system is unidirectional – with updates from MyGV being sent to Twitter/Facebook, but not the other way around.

    Just to add the the idea of the calender, it would be nice if we could create a schedule of all events, cut off dates, etc. for all users to see so they dont miss out on anything!

    Could members create “Challenges” with points assigned to them? The challenges could be along the lines of “Do a presentation to your class about MyGV”, “Volunteer 20 hours for a charity”, “Speak to your MP about Global Vision”, etc.

    The system would have to be tweaked obviously – would it be an honour system? Probably would need a Moderator to approve challenges and how many points allotted.
