My Craziest Travel experience was with Amy in the park in Bracebridge. We got stuck in the mud and I was busy taking pictures while Amy was scared we would miss the event all together. It was a great team bonding experience for Amy, Adam And JF. We managed to get the car out of the mud and get it back on the road and end up at the event in time…..

I have had many. I wish there is a like for this topic because travelling is the best!! I would travel every day of my life if I could.
One of the craziest ones for me was when I was flying from Trinidad to Tobago with a few friends and we started talking to this random guy in the airport. One of my friends was wearing a Canadian University College t-shirt and he recognized it. So as we were in the air he says that his nephew went there and it turns out that we all knew him. To our surprise, he then offered for us to stay in his 5 star resort that he owned for free! Not being a large island, he had a Rolls Royce pick us up and for the next few days we were served pineapple and mangoes etc on his resort’s private beech! Networking pays off.
Another crazy part of this trip occurred when we boarding the airplane to leave. Not to be racist or sexist, but if you have ever been on a small, southern Caribbean flight you know what the flight attendants are like: there is little service and they do not follow the policy of “the customer is always right” nor the ones that forces them to “smile.” Anyhow, we were caught breathless as soon as we stepped on the plane as the flight attendants were ALL tall, hot blondes. At first we just stood there speechless but then we asked them what that was all about. It turns out that the plane that we were supposed to be on was cancelled on another island so the Delta airline, an alliance airline, reluctantly sent their services for us. What a great trip! Crazy can be a good thing!

Craziest travel experience…hmmm…to define crazy first off…that can take so many different forms! Last week in Jamaica I had the opportunity to hike the world famous Dunns River Falls. Hiking the waterfall was fun, but it didn’t compare to the boat ride back to our resort. As outlined in the tour book we were scheduled to have a dance party! About ten minutes into the ride… the sea began to get rough from the relentless ten foot waves. Challenge accepted! I joined in with the crew for the wildest macarena dance of my life.
The sea water hitting your face, the Caribbean sun cascading down on your back, and reggae music pumping in the background. What an unreal day.
